It has retained its unusual originality and has recently had the addition of a purpose built annex. This annex has also been sympathetically designed with the disabled, wheel chair users & their carers in mind.

Smokers are kindly requested not to smoke anywhere in the premises but are welcome to do so in the grounds.

Surrounding Areas Of Four-Winds Retreat

Kessingland beach offers shops, post office, restaurants & public houses. The area is on the Suffolk heritage coast which takes in Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich & the RSPB reserve at Minsmere.

The near by seaside town of Lowestoft offers beaches, piers, pedestrian shopping centre, cinema, theatre and leisure centre.

To the west is the market town of Halesworth, which leads to Bungay & Beccles which are towns fringing on the River Waveney.

Further to the west is Norwich, a fine city with its castle and cathedral. There is a very comprehensive shopping mall and open air market.

Gt Yarmouth is situated approximately 10 miles north of Lowestoft and is a popular holiday resort which boasts theatres, cinemas, pleasure beach and a fine promenade. Oulton Broad is the southern gateway to the famous Norfolk Broads, with its river trips and speed boat racing which are within easy reach of Four-Winds Retreat.

Our Accommodation is available from 2pm on the day of arrival and guest are asked to vacate the premises by 10am on the day of departure.

A shopping service ofprovisions on the day of arrival can be provided if a list of requirements are supplied with the balace of payment. settlement for provisions supplied is requested on arrival.
