Country Hideaways is a small, family agency, established since 1988, offering first class self-catering accommodation in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

Choose from unique watermill apartments, elegant houses and cosy cottages. All quite individual in style but all carefully selected for their quality, comfort and stunning location amidst the glorious settings of Wensleydale, Swaledale, Bishopdale and Coverdale in the Yorkshire Dales.

We are members of the Yorkshire Tourist Board and only promote holiday properties which have been accessed under VisitBtritain's quality assurance standard.

Each cottage, house and apartment is inspected annually by VisitBritain but in addition to this our holiday accommodation is visited regularly by us to ensure standards are maintained or improved.

Holidays are essential to us all and enjoyment should not be spoilt through concern about the quality of accommodation, so we insist on high standards, and the last question we ask ourselves is: "Would we happily spend a holiday there?" The answer has got to be "Yes!" or the property just isn't suitable to let through our agency.

Scenery so breathtaking and unspoilt that some 680 square miles have been protected as a National Park since 1954.
