Jewish Blind & Disabled
|
Jewish Blind & Disabled (JBD) provides caring sheltered housing to improve the quality of life, maximise freedom of choice, respect dignity at all times and help achieve independent living for visually and physically disabled people. We enable our residents to enjoy independence with privacy, security and dignity.
Today JBD has 193 flats in total: Fairacres, Finchley; Cherry Tree Court, Kingsbury, Cecil Rosen Court, North Wembley; Milne Court, South Woodford and Hilary Dennis court, Wanstead. In addition to modern one and two-bedroom flats, each block has communal facilities and House Managers on site 24 hours a day. The demand for our flats increases daily. Regrettably, we have to turn way so many applicants. Our priority is to provide purpose-built sheltered housing for many more registered blind or disabled people of all ages, as soon as we can. If you require education material, donation information, literature, or wish to contact us on any matter, we would be delighted to hear from you. |
