Fibromyalgia Support N. Ireland

Fibromyalgia can affect anyone, but women are primarily disabled by the condition and here in Northern Ireland, up to 3% of the population could have it. Although the symptoms are many and variable this doesn't mean that if you suffer from some or even all of them that you definitely have FM. A diagnosis is best established through attending a Consultant Rheumatologist , although many GP's are now able to recognise the symptoms of the disease adequately to give a confident diagnosis.
